It’s a time when films with Big stars are failing, but small budget films with relevant or entertaining content are proving to be successful. If we take the examples of recent releases like Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Lipstick Under My Burkha, Bareilly Ki Barfi or Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, none of the mentioned films had big budget and expectations but proved to be profitable for its makers as the audience lapped them up later.
A new film that promises to enter the elite list soon after its release is “Call For Fun”. The film starring newcomers like Zaan Khan, Shubhangi Mehrotra, Charu Asopa, Prashant Kanaujia, Aashish Gade, Priyanka Arya, Swagata Naik Prasad Shikhare and Linesh Fanse promises an entertaining time filled with lots of humour.
A trailer of Call For Fun was released today and what we can assume after having a look at it is the film is going to be a fun watch. The star cast is new but looks confident which adds to the charm.
Talking about the star cast, Director & Co-Producer of the film Janak Toprani states-
“The starcast are people we have carefully picked, over a period of one year, depending on the characters they are to portray. They physically fit the characters perfectly as I believe that right casting wins 50% of the battle. The fresh talent is backed by a strong technical team that includes three national award winners.”
