Atlee’s movie “Mersal” starring Vijay has gained immense attention and limelight for a scene in which the lead actor criticizes the govt’s GST (Goods and Services Tax) move. Needless to say, it has created issues for the flick but at the same time, many actors and celebrities are openly supporting and appreciating the film.
Recently, GVL Narasimha Rao, the spokesperson of BJP, made an unfavorable comment in his interview to a news channel in relation to controversy regarding “Mersal”.
Here’s what he said,
“In any case, most of our film stars have very low IQ, very low general knowledge.”

This naturally didn’t go well with many celebrities and popular actor Farhan Akhtar is one of them. He just couldn’t tolerate the insult to him as well as his friends from the industry.
He took to Twitter and in a fierce tone, he wrote,
“How dare you, sir?? @GVLNRAO
And to all film people in his ranks.. here’s what he thinks of you. #shame”

It didn’t take the actor much time to give the troller a befitting reply. He tweeted, “It’s not about most and all. It’s the condescending attitude towards the profession.”
