The 18th season of one of the most controversial reality shows, i.e., Bigg Boss came to an end with Karan Veer Mehra winning the trophy but there are many who are not happy with his win.
While some argue that finalist Vivian Dsena was more deserving of the title, others question whether Karan truly earned the trophy. Television producer Sandeep Sikand recently weighed in, stating that Karan’s win was not based on audience votes as many believed but rather on his personality. His remarks have reignited debates about the show’s credibility, with viewers alleging that the finale was rigged.
Adding to the controversy, the former Bigg Boss winner Shilpa Shinde criticised the show’s makers. She accused them of fixing the results and claimed that the audience is no longer deceived by the show’s outcomes. Shilpa’s comments reflect a growing dissatisfaction among fans regarding how winners are chosen.
Shilpa Shinde says that she thinks some people have understood that the makers decide the winner on their own. She further says that whatever strategy the channel had, people have come to know about it, people can be fooled till one limit but not after that.
The grand finale of Bigg Boss 18, held on January 19, crowned Karan Veer Mehra as the winner. Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal took second and third places, respectively. The remaining finalists included Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang and Eisha Singh.
Since Karan’s triumph, several contestants from the show have expressed disappointment, suggesting that the audience’s decision did not align with their expectations.
