The online photo-sharing records were broken by Barack Obama after he won the presidential election. After his victory, he uploaded a photo on his Facebook timeline, hugging Michelle and it had a very simple caption ‘four more years’. This photo was taken on the 6th of November 2012 at around 11.15 PM. You won’t believe it but it is a fact that the photo instantly (by 7th November morning) got around 3.1 million likes. Facebook also announced that this was the most-liked photo ever.

The photographer behind this photo is Scout Tufankijan. She says that the photograph was captured at Iowa at a campaign event on the 15th of August. In an interview, she revealed that “This was the first event the First Lady had been at and they hadn’t seen each other for a few days. Because I’m a total sap and am also relatively recently married, I find their relationship to be totally inspirational in terms of the respect they have for each other, so I always try to focus on them as a couple, rather than as public figures.”
