Today we present the story of an individual who was born as a boy but gradually observed girlish qualities in himself. The lady about whom we are going to tell you now is Manvi; however, earlier she was called Yogesh. Yes, that’s true! Today’s Manvi was yesterday’s Yogesh until he underwent a s*x change operation and transformed from “he” to “she”.
Yogesh was frustrated living like a transgender and now at the age of 30, he has become what he always wanted to. Manvi said, “Now I want to live like a woman and not like a transgender.”
Yogesh hails from Bharuch, Gujarat and his family was very happy when he was born. For some years, everything was going alright but then Yogesh felt some changes in his behavior and his body.
He was a boy but he started dressing like girls and his mannerisms were changing too.
Yogesh alias Manvi stated, “This irked my family and they scolded me. I have accepted myself as a girl but because of family pressure I had to complete my studies as a boy. I did my schooling from my village school and at that time most of my friends were girls. I also wanted to dress like them but was not allowed.”
“After school, I got admitted in a College in Bharuch distinct. I was the butt of all jokes because of my girlish behavior but I was not bothered about those things,” added Manvi.
Yogesh got a chance to meet a transgender and after that, he joined their group. He used to dress like them and accompany them until he was seen by a neighbor.
In the words of Manvi, “I was beaten when I returned and then I decided to run away from my home. After I joined transgender’s group, I was asked to get the genital piercing done and become a transgender. But I refused it because I didn’t want to live like them. I was with them for 6-7 months and I cannot forget those days.”
Fortunately for Yogesh, he met a person known as “Mamu” by a transgender. Yogesh talked about his life with Mamu, who took him to Lakshay trust where Yogesh got the job of project manager.
Manvi told, “I started taking prescribed hormones two years ago to look exactly like a girl and saved money for sex change operation.”
After becoming a lady, Manvi hopes to become a mother as she says, “Doctors will be able to clarify on this only after some time, but I am sure there must be technology that will help me in becoming a mother.”
