It is sad to hear that when people call for help, the hospital staff is ready with their weird answers that make no sense at all. The common man is the one who has to suffer in the end. There is no quick response or service in the hour of emergency.
No more Atrocity:
On one similar episode that took place in Haryana, a person met with a severe accident on a road while travelling. To get quick medical assistance, the victim dialled emergency ambulance number 102. His bad, the phone wasn’t answered at the first attempt, which created the delay in getting assistance. Unfortunately, one of the four people who had been injured in the accident died. Finally, when the phone was answered, the operator replied,
“Ambulance ud kar nahi ayegi, aaram se aayegi.”
But it seems the operator had a bad time. The person who called up turned out to be Sandeep Singh, Additional Section Judge in the CBI court of Panchkula district. Upon receiving this unprofessional and careless response, Singh filed a police complaint against the operator after which the investigation has been initiated.
Right Response to the arrogance:
The slapping response from Sandeep Singh literally made the operator go shiver. So at least next time, victim calling for medical assistance will be assured of receiving quick service and good response.
