However, a recent incident involving Pooja Hegde sparked disappointment and backlash among Allu Arjun’s fans when she mistakenly referred to “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo” as a Tamil movie.
A video of Pooja’s interview soon went viral on social media, prompting strong reactions from fans of Allu Arjun who criticised the actress for the error. At the same time, many of Pooja Hegde’s supporters defended her, urging others to remain calm and view it as a minor mistake. Some pointed out that her intention was to promote the film, even if she misidentified its industry, suggesting that a clarification from her could easily resolve the issue.
Pooja Hegde stated, “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is actually a Tamil film, it was not a pan-India film. But, people watched it in Hindi. So, if the work is good, it will reach people.”
