The couple visited Sasan Gir in Junagadh and during their visit they got down from their vehicle and started clicking photos with them. The cricketer got into trouble since the photos are going viral on social media, owing to which an inquiry has been ordered.
Yes, the matter is being investigated by the forest officials now. Jadeja is in trouble because he has violated the rules of the forest by getting off the jeep and posing with these dangerous animals. Have a look at his instagram post!

AP Singh, the chief forest conservator stated that Gir National Park is a protected area and people aren’t allowed to get off their vehicles during the safari. He further added that “Since it is against the rule to get down (from) the vehicle in jungle, we have ordered a probe into the matter,”
After the investigation, there is a likelihood of Jadeja getting fined. There have been lot of fatal incidences off late and hence, the forest officials have formulated such rules. Recently 3 people, including a woman and a 14 year old boy were killed by these lions here.
