There was a time when Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli had been such good friends that they were called Indian cricket’s Jai and Veeru and their friendship was seen as that of Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan in the 1975 released movie “Sholay”.
The duo had an amazing bond till Vinod alleged that Sachin Tendulkar forgot him. In fact, Kambli went on to say that Sachin didn’t even invite him to his post-retirement party.
Recently, Kambli took to Twitter and took a jibe at his friendship with Sachin indirectly:
Well, as we know that cricket is India is not merely a sport but a religion and cricket lovers consider Sachin Tendulkar the God of the cricket. No wonder, such an indirect attack on him was unacceptable on the part of his fans who in turn trolled Kambli on social media.
