Heights of inhumanity! A school teacher in Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli district raped a 6 year old girl just because she didn’t do her homework. This incident happened on the 23rd of March. The survivor was admitted next day to the district hospital and was discharged on Saturday.
This incident took place in Kursa village, when a 2nd class student who didn’t complete her homework was asked by teacher Satya Narayan Verma to go and kneel down in the backyard of the school.
Then, Verma follower her to the backyard and raped her. He threatened her to not mention about this incident to anyone. The girl reached home around 6pm and just slept off. Later, when her mother found her bleeding in the night, the girl narrated the entire incident to her.
A complaint was lodged by the parents with Jiyavan police station and immediately the child was sent to the district hospital. On the 25th of March, the accused was arrested and jailed.
Dr. Ritu Patel stated that the girl had sustained severe injuries and also kept under observation from the 24th of March. Now, she is out of danger and is discharged. This is the 6th such incident within 15 days when a minor aged had to be hospitalized after being raped.
