The release of the most awaited Hollywood Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has witnessed an excellent opening in India. In spite of the exams and cricket fever going on, the movie managed to collect a whooping amount of Rs 8.50 crores.
It faced competition from Rocky Handsome, which released on the same day. Unfortunately, Rocky Handsome managed to collect only 5.29 crores on its opening day. Talking about previews, Rocky Handsome collected 1.77 crores, while Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice collected 4 crores, again leading the game.
In the morning, this Hollywood film had a huge start, with the occupancy of around 55 percent. It did pretty well both in single screens as well as multiplexes and has beaten all the Bollywood films in terms of the occupancy. After Avengers- Age of Ultron and Furious 7, this movie is known to have the 3rd highest opening day.
