I a recent interview, he got candid and discussed everything from love to life, movie to maa, and divulged some really interesting facts. It is his honest confessions that make him a dear darling to the media.
In this excerpts from the interview, Salman discussed everything with an out of box answer which startled us a little.
When asked about the director who directed him in cult classic Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He said
On Sanjay Leela Bhansali: “Bhansali saab abhi tak Khamoshi aur Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam ki wajah se hi bache hue hain…(Bhansali is surviving only because of Khamoshi and HDDCS)
On Hollywood projects: “I like to work in India a lot and I like to deliver dialogues in Hindi. Suddenly, after Hindi dialogues since so many years, if I say dialogues in English, it would look a bit weird on me. I’m very happy here, They (Hollywood) work extremely hard but we don’t need to work that hard here. I’ll have to establish respect again and when I’m already receiving so much respect here then why? We work for respect, it’s taken so many years to earn respect here, so I don’t see any point”
On his alleged girlfriend, Lulia Vantur: I love the rumor’s that spread. I was fast asleep when the rumour of me sleeping with her broke…
On SRK being called Pakistani agent: “Hamesha Shah Rukh mujhe vivadon mein phasa dete hain…wo bolke nikal jate hain…fir mujhe aana padta hai unko support karne ke liye.”
On his alleged tiff with Aamir Khan: “Aamir khan ki kisi ke saath anban ho sakti hai kya?”
On his choice of movies: I would like to say to my fans, not to link my life trouble with my film. He asked cine lovers to not let his personal reasons hamper the release of his film because they have worked a lot for this film. Also, Salman confessed that he sleeps during his movies & he also dozes off watching films of other actors, let alone his films
