The thing about flashmob is that it feels amazing to see group of people coming out of the blue and starts dancing in front of you. But frankly speaking I’m really unlucky as I never got to experience one in my life. But many people were lucky enough to experience what happened at Delhi Airport when SpiceJet cabin crew decided to surprise passengers with a flashmob.
Around a group of 35 specially trained cabin crew members of SpiceJet appeared randomly from the passengers at Delhi’s T1 departure hall. They performed a choreographically sound dance sequence to ‘Balam Pichkari’ from the film “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”.
SpiceJet officials said, “The flashmob was organised with cooperation from Delhi International Airport Authorities”. Also, it was reported that around 100 cabin crew members were auditioned for the flashmob from which just 35 were selected.

The question which came to my mind after watching the video was – Why I don’t get to experience these kind of FlashMobs? After all we also pay the same amount for the ticket. Maybe they should start doing it before every flight departure. 😉
