1. Dionysus was primarily known as the God of the Vine and was the last god to enter Olympus. Upon reaching adulthood, Dionysus wandered the Earth, teaching men the culture of the vine.
2. It is believed that Hephaestus was the only ugly god among perfectly beautiful immortals. He was also known as god of fire.
3. Hermes was considered a “trickster” due to his cunning and clever personality. He was mainly known for his work to pass messages from one person to other.
4. Poseidon was allotted his dominion after the fall of the Titans. He was also considered as god of sea and protector of all water bodies.
5. Demeter was the daughter of Cronos and Rhea and she was the goddess of harvest and fertility.
6. Athena was the Goddess of War, the female counterpart of Ares. She also served as guardian to Athens.
