SHOCKING: Man Refused To Give Beggar Rs 100 & He Dragged Him In Front Of A Speeding Train

In a weird incident, a passenger was killed by a beggar when he refused to give alms to the beggar. The incident happened at Phafoond railway station, Auraiya district on Tuesday night.

A passenger who has been identified as Sarvesh Kumar, from Lalpur, Auraiya was standing on platform no.2 as he was waiting for a train, at that moment a beggar who seems to be a lad of 25 years came to him and asked Rs.100 as alms. Sarvesh refused and asked him to go away. This made the beggar angry and he got hold of Sarvesh and pulled him towards the railway track, beggar along with Sarvesh jumped on the track on which Delhi-Kolkata Rajdhani Express was coming at a high speed. They both were crushed under the wheels of the train and died at the location.

Sarvesh had came to Sahar village to attend an after death ritual “Terhvi” of his relative. TOI got to know this from a GRP officer, “The incident occurred at around 10.30pm while he was waiting for the train to return home.”

The officer further told, “As per eyewitness, Sarvesh cried for help, but none came forward to his rescue. The beggar caught hold of him and in a spur of moment jumped in front of the fast approaching train near the track. The duo died at the spot.”

Railways officials along with GRP Police and RPF personnel visited the spot, the body parts of both the persons were scattered on the railway track which were collected by GRP officers and sent for post-mortem.

As per the information coming from preliminary probe, GRP has claimed that beggar was mentally challenged. A GRP officer said, “He was spotted loitering near the railway station premises since past few days.” The beggar is also said to be from Jharkhand on the basis of documents that were found with him by GRP officers.
