Some experts calculate that between 0.01% to 0.1 % of all species become extinct each year. There are around 2 million different species on earth which means about 200 to 2000 species reach extinction every year. But this list is actually its opposite, its the list about extinct animals that may still be alive.
1. Woolly Mammoth
These animals died about 4000 years back but few people claim that they saw this creature in real.

2. Passenger Pigeon
In past, Passenger Pigeons were in billions but they also very easy to hunt. The last passenger pigeon, named Martha, died in the Cincinnati Zoo in 1914.

The thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger) officially died off in 1936. But even after that there are more than dozen sightings reports about this creature.

4. Baiji (Yangtze River Dophin)
The baiji were dolphins found exclusively in the Yangtze River and were declared extinct in 2006. But then one was spotted a mere year later.

5. Japanese Wolf
There are actually two types of the Japanese wolf: the Honshu wolf and the Hokkaido wolf. The Honshu died off in 1905 and the Hokkaido in 1889. But a Japanese wolf managed to turn up in 1910. And the 1930s. And, again, in the 1950s.
