On one side where Sheena Bora murder mystery is on peak with many twists, here comes another shocking example which has shaken the nation, proving the effect and outcome of cases like Indrani Mukerjea on the mind of children.
We are talking about a class 7th student studying in a private school in Delhi who had been caught passing note in his class. Although at one sight, it may seem obvious and something not strange or uncommon as students do it at times; however, what came to the teacher as a great shock cum surprise was the note written on the paper.
Any guesses what the student wrote in the note? I bet none of your guesses could be true here because it’s impossible or hard to believe that a student can thin or write any such thing in this age. The note read,
“I am an illegitimate child. My mother is like Indrani Mukerjea. She likes having sex with many men.”
What’s more shocking is that the student did not disclose this secret with his close friends but circulated in the whole class by means of that note. Soon the matter reached the Principal and shortly, the boy got suspended and going through counseling presently.
What comes into light through this incident is the impact of such news and reports on children who don’t have proper understanding of what is right and what is wrong. At this point, a question can be put up on media and news channels too which telecast such cases with added spice for many days with repeat telecasts. Don’t you think that media should learn to define a limit regarding such cases?
