Nowadays, there is a very thin line between a politician and a goon. The BJP MLA from Madhya Pradesh, Vel Singh Bhuria has crossed that line when he said that he has the power to carry an encounter if he needed to maintain peace and harmony in his constituency Dhar.
Bhuria was talking to reporters in Dasai village in Dhar, when he said, “Catch and send all the goons to Sardarpur (his constituency), I will put them in Jail. I enjoy the power to carry out an encounter.”
However, when he realized that he has made a mistake, he said that media has distorted his remarks and he also rendered an apology if someone has been hurt with his remarks.
