The woman, in her complaint, said, “While on my way home, I fell asleep on the back seat of the cab. A few minutes later, I realised that the car was stopped at a secluded place and the driver was molesting me. She further added , “I tried to unlock the cab door but failed. The driver threatened to kill me and raped me.”
Police said that the driver later dropped her near home and once again threaten to kill her if she informed the police about all this.
But the woman phoned the police at 10:30 and informed them about all this. She also went to Sarai Rohilla police station on Saturday and filed a complaint and also provided a photo containing the car’s number – “DL 1YD 7910.”
We surely do wish a strong punishment for the molester. What punishment do you all think would be enough for the driver? And what do you think about the security of women in Delhi at night?
