The senior Bollywood actor Nana Patekar who is certainly one of the finest actors of the Indian film industry has recently been in news but for all the wrong reasons. A video of the “Welcome” star has been going viral for couple of days in which he is seen slapping a boy who wanted to get clicked with him. Ever since, there has been a huge uproar on social media and people obviously condemned the actor’s behaviour.
The incident took place in Varanasi where Nana Patekar is shooting for the movie “Journey” which also stars Utkarsh Sharma and it is being directed by Anil Sharma.

Now Nana Patekar finally responded on this matter and he clarified that it was a sequence in the movie which they had rehearsed once and when the boy came, he (Nana) thought that it was the second sequence so he acted in this manner. Nana further added that he had no idea that the boy was not a crew member but when he realized that, he looked for the boy but he was not there. Nana Patekar also added that he has never said no for a photo to anyone and whatever happened, it happened by mistake and he also apologized for it.

The director of the movie, Anil Sharma whose last movie “Gadar 2” was a big hit at the box-office also confirmed that what Nana Patekar did was a shot sequence of his movie and he did nothing intentionally.
