One of the biggest matches of the cricket world will be played tomorrow when India and Pakistan will clash against each other at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy, Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 tournament.
The Pakistani cricket team has always been known for their strong pace bowling and the current Pakistani team also has some good pacers such as Shaheen Shah Afridi, Harris Rauf and Naseem Shah. A lot will depend on Indian batter Virat Kohli if the Indian team has to win the tournament and recently during an interview, the Indian batter not only talked about the Pakistan bowling but he also praised them.

Virat Kohli stated that the Pakistan team’s strength is their bowling and they have some really good bowlers who are capable of changing the course of the game because of which a batter needs to be at his best while facing them.
The former skipper of the Indian cricket team was going through a lean phase for around 2 years but now he has regained his form and he will certainly play a big role in India’s campaign of Asia Cup 2023 and ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
He further says that every day, every training session, every year and every season, he has tried to understand only one thing and that is how to make his game better and this has helped him in playing so long and performing well for his team.
The former RCB skipper states that he feels it is impossible to perform consistently if a person doesn’t have that mindset because if performance is the only goal of a player, then he may get satisfied and stop making efforts.
Virat Kohli also talks about his motto which has been “chase betterment not excellence” because he doesn’t know the definition of excellence. The Indian cricketer concludes by saying that performance of a player is the byproduct of his mindset.
