We have once again reached that time of the year when one of the biggest fashion events will fill us with zeal, enthusiasm and excitement. Yes, we are talking about the Met Gala event that is also called Met Ball, Costume Institute Gala or Costume Institute Benefit and it is organized in order to fulfill the purpose of fundraising for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, New York City.
It is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious fashion events of the world and getting an invitation is no less than an achievement. Usually, the invitations are sent to the celebs from the fields of movies, TV, fashion, music, sports and social media but sometimes people from business or other industries are also invited by America’s fashion magazine Vogue.
