It’s been 2 years and 10 days since Demonetisation or Note Bandhi was announced by the Modi government, in an attempt to fight corruption and black money.
But was it effective? We doubt it.
In a rally recently, Narendra Modi claimed that Demonestisation was the right thing to do, and it has certainly reduced the corruption prevailing due to black money in the market.
Really, Modi Ji?
He also said that the glitches and problems faced by the people of the country were collateral damage, which could not be avoided. Of course, this did not sit well with the netizens on Twitter, who did not wait to troll him. People also opened up about their terrible experiences and the nightmare following the 8th November announcement.
