One of the worst wildfires of the season has hit Los Angeles, California. In fact, thousands of homes in the affected regions have been forced to evacuate. Several celebrities, like Gerard Butler and Scott Derrickson, have shared photos of their houses which have burnt to the ground in the wildfire.
Thanks to the Los Angeles Fire Department, countless lives have been saved. Such an event has seen several celebrities and residents of LA coming together in solidarity.
However, one man’s boss had the audacity to send the following message,
“I understand that your house is on fire and hope that you and your family are safe! I really care and hope everything is good! But yes, please we’re going to be open tomorrow, so please come into work!”
Is humanity no more, you guys?

The Tweet was retweeted over and over again, with millennials sharing their opinions on the harsh corporate culture which has taken precedence over humanity. Take a look at some of them:
I'd go in, pour gasoline all over, and light a match. https://t.co/OkKGip62mO

Some people even added their own personal accounts of corporate hardships, some of which are shocking to say the least. Take a look:
I worked as head fryer in a fish & chip shop in a holiday town in the summer. I collapsed because of the heat. Rushed to hospital by ambulance, recovered enough to make it back to work to finish shift.
End of the week found out I'd been docked the 3 hours I was unconscious!— Les Hemmings #FBPE 🇪🇺🇺🇦 (@LesHemmings) November 12, 2018
Capitalism turns people into monsters.

When I was in college I worked for Walmart. On Black Friday I got sick. Throwing up at my station in a wast paper bin sick. When I finally made it to the toilet a manager came in & as I was on my knees retching she asked me if I could still work. Then said I needed to clock out.
