Celebrities getting trolled on social media by netizens is pretty common and not at all surprising; however, when cops troll a celeb and that too in a subtle yet strong way, it definitely grabs eyeballs.
Bollywood actor Uday Chopra is a favourite of trollers who leave simply no chance of taking a jibe at him. In fact, his appearance on social media offers much entertainment to trollers, thanks to his posts on the micro-blogging site Twitter that invite more criticism and mockery than appreciation.
Uday did it again but this time Mumbai Police took a subtle dig at him.
First of all, take a look at what Uday tweeted:
“I feel India should legalize marijuana. Firstly, It’s part of our culture. Secondly, I think if legalized and taxed it can be a huge revenue source. Not to mention it will remove the criminal element associated with it. Plus and most importantly it has a lot of medical benefits!”

Marijuana is a drug used for intoxication purposes and its possession, consumption and transportation may send a person behind the bars in India for a long time.
Mumbai Police came across Uday Chopra’s tweet and gave him an epic reply,
“Sir, as citizen of India, you are privileged to express your view on a public platform. Be mindful, as of now, consumption, possession and transportation of marijuana, invites harsh punishment as per provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985. Spread the Word”
