The ace comedian Kapil Sharma has regularly been making headlines ever since the news of his new show Family Time With Kapil Sharma on Sony TV came. The channel even released few promos that further increased fans’ excitement and hopes from the show.
Subsequently, Kapil had a war of words with Sunil Grover on the micro-blogging site Twitter post which he cancelled the launch event of his new show that was supposed to take place on Tuesday morning, i.e., 20th March.

Some said that he was upset and hurt after exchanging tweets with Sunil while others were of the opinion that Kapil called off the launch event as he wanted to avoid unpleasant questions from reporters on this matter.
On the event’s cancellation, PR of Sony TV released a statement which read,
“There has been a technical issue on the sets which cannot be resolved immediately. Hence, today’s shoot had to be rescheduled. The press conference is also been rescheduled. We will update you on the revised dates. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
After this, another piece of news started doing rounds according to which Kapil Sharma cancelled the shoot with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani for “Baaghi”.
Several media houses including Hindustan Times, BollywoodLife, IndiaTV etc. covered this news and it shortly went viral.

However, there has been no confirmation or authenticity of this piece of news and now Kapil Sharma himself broke silence and revealed the truth. In a furious tweet, Kapil slammed media houses for irresponsible journalism and wrote,
“Tiger was never supposed to shoot for our 2nd episode, so shoot cancel hone ka sawaal hi paida nahi hota.kuch to authenticity rakha karo yaar.Twitter kya ab explanation dene ke liye hi reh gya hai?Best wishes to my brother @iTIGERSHROFF for #baaghi2 see u soon bro.. lots of love”

Now when Kapil himself cleared the air, we believe that media houses will rectify their mistake and be more careful while covering such news in future.
