Last year, there was a lot of controversy surrounding Sonu Nigam’s comment on loudspeakers. He had commented on loud voice of Azaan and said that it disturbed his morning sleep. Many controversial events followed that tweet and ultimately, Sonu Nigam had to go bald.
The singer had received immense support from Bollywood celebrities; however, he couldn’t escape the backlash from Muslim clerics.
Now after a year, Javed Akhtar has come up with a similar opinion. He too is against the use of loudspeakers in mosques, especially the ones in residential areas. Not only mosques, Javed Akhtar feels that they shouldn’t be used in other places of worship too.
This is what he tweeted;
This is to put on record that I totally agree with all those including Sonu Nigam who want that Loud speakers should not be used by the mosques and for that matter by any place of worship in residential areas .

As expected, many people lashed out at him. On social media, you will find many people who have no job but to create religious differences. Even though a person just expresses his views, trollers are ready with their “Talwaars”.
