Superstitions are all over. Just a couple of days back we told you about the weird beliefs of a former South African cricketer, Makhaya Ntini and now a set of thieves from Thane, Maharashtra are in news for the same.

Now call it a superstition, belief or the will to make your arrow hit on right place, these thieves used to spin coconut at a road junction and rob a house towards which the fruit pointed.
Yes, it’s true!
As per Mid Day reports, the thieves also used to do Pooja at the road junction and leave a flower at the house after completing the theft. The reports also suggest that total 4 members of the gang have been caught while the search of 3 is on.
Pratap Bhosle, Navghar police inspector, said-
“We received a tip-off about them when they were approaching the check naka, most likely to do their routine and find a new area to commit crime in. My team laid a trap and got ready for these men at the spot before they reached. Four were arrested.”
As per the reports, the officers have seized four knives, two katawanis, two screwdrivers, one spring panha, four keys, two caps, and a coconut with flowers from them.
The police records already show several cases registered against the gang at Navghar, Mulund, Thane, Dombivli, Kalyan, Navi Mumbai and many other places.

While sharing details of their last theft, The deputy commissioner, Akhilesh Singh said-
“In their last house break-in, they’d robbed Rs 1.6 lakh. The house had been shut for many days; we found fresh flowers at the spot, and that matched with several crimes in other areas.”
Now this is some really weird yet alarming case. Anything can happen in our country. What are your thoughts?
