After 17 years, India got a Miss World! Priyanka Chopra was crowned Miss World in 2000 and since then, we were waiting to see the next. Manushi Chhillar recreated history by winning the title bringing a smile to our face.
Manushi deserved to win because she perfectly wooed the judges with her personality. Well, she has brought pride to India and we should give her all the respect and love. However, it is really sad to see that instead of congratulating her and showering her with praises, some people are trolling her for her surname “Chhillar”. It’s Chhillar, but some people are labelling her as Chillar (Coins) and making fun of her by linking it to demonetization.
People are saying that Modi’s demonetization (Banning notes) has failed as Chillar has won. But what’s more! Even Shashi Tharoor trolled her surname and disrespected her. Let us tell you that this is totally in bad taste and has no connection whatsoever. This is what he tweeted;
