Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmavati” has been attracting controversies from the very beginning and now as its release is coming near, it’s natural for the number of controversies to increase. During the shooting, Sanjay was physically assaulted, the sets were vandalised and now the President of Karni Sena, Rajasthan Unit, has threatened to chop off Deepika’s nose. The Rajput Karni Sena is of the opinion that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has distorted the historical facts and he has shown Rani Padmavati in bad light. They are demanding ban on the movie as it hurts their sentiments.
Many celebrities from the film fraternity gave their support to the cast and crew of “Padmavati” and got trolled by those who don’t agree with them and Aditi Rao Hydari is also one of them.
Aditi is from a royal background; she is also a part of the flick and is playing the character of Alauddin Khilji’s wife Mehrunisa. When she came out to support her film and praised the director, she was slammed on the micro-blogging site.
Aditi tweeted,
