Internet is a great place for those who like to know about different places and people as well as share about themselves but at the same time, it’s also full of those who like to spread fake news and photos.
As the whole India was celebrating Diwali, a beautiful picture of Amritsar’s Golden Temple was getting viral on social media. The picture showed Golden Temple glowing with beautiful lights surrounded with huge crowd and lots of lighting kandils or lanterns flying in the sky, illuminating the whole area.
It was shared by the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan too who took to the micro-blogging site and tweet the pic with caption, “This is simply DIVINE … !!”

However, everyone was left shocked when it was revealed that this picture is fake and the person who edited it came online asking everyone to give credit to him while sharing the picture. The name of the person who claims to edit the picture is Navkaran Brar and he also made it clear that he never had any intention of making anyone fool; he has just created a piece of art.
Here are his tweets:
#HappyDiwali2017 #goldentemple picart by me
If you are going to post this then please give proper credit🙏🏼#amritsar

Many people including celebs shared this picture on Twitter:
It’s photoshopped:
This pic is photo-shopped Sir… The lantern pic in the foreground is from some Thai or Korean festival…

Be careful of what you share on the Internet as it can be fake too!
