India may have lost the first ODI match against Australia if it was not Hardik Pandya who played an aggressive innings along with a brilliant support from Dhoni for the 6th wicket. Thanks to these two we actually managed to score a good total of 281 and didn’t let the match go out of our hands.
Hardik Pandya scored a wonderful 83 in 66 balls pulling 5 fours and 5 sixes. He missed the century but filled that gap by striking two wickets as a bowler which got him a much deserving Man Of The Match award.
During the wonderful batting innings, Hardik Pandya left everyone amazed with his stunning ping-pong style shot.
Marcus Stoinis was bowling the 24th over of the match and it was the 5th ball when he cut in a short ball from outside off. The slow and short ball gave Pandya a lot of time to make his strategy and what came out was totally astonishing. In no time the ball reached the boundary and the Australian players kept on wondering what happened there. We loved the expressions of Marcus at that moment. Have a look-
