Bollywood celebrities are minting millions; they have immense fan following and so, their movies mint crores and crores, when they hit the screens. If their film is earning so much, it’s obvious that even they would be getting a hefty amount at the end.
Last week, Forbes came out with a list of highest paid actors in the world and this time, it is back with the list of highest paid B-Town actors. When we talk of Bollywood, the 3 Khans dominate the industry!
However, we need to see their ranks in 2017 to be able to decide who the highest paid one in the lot is. Their earnings include not only the movie fees, but also their money that they earn from endorsements. The earnings recorded are from the period June 1, 2016 to June 1, 2017. 1. SRK tops the list with yearly earnings of $38 million (Rs 243 crore). His earnings comprise of film fees, profit of his production house “Red Chillies” and also his brand endorsements.
2. Next on the list is Salman Khan, with earnings of $37 million (Rs 236 crore). Sultan has been a major contributor to this.
3. Everyone expected Aamir Khan on the 3rd position, however, it has been taken by Akshay Kumar, whose yearly earnings are reported to be $35.5 million (Rs 224 crore).
4. Aamir Khan has acquired the 4th position and his yearly earnings are reported to be $12.5 million (Rs 80 crore). There’s a huge difference between the earnings of Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan; probably this is because he just gives 1 movie a year.
5. 5th in the list is Hrithik Roshan. His yearly earnings are reported to be $11.5 million (Rs 73.6 crore); Kaabil’s success is responsible here.
6. Next in the list is Deepika Padukone with $11 million (Rs 70 crore). She has already upped her film fees as per reports; apart from that, she endorses many brands like Oppo, Nike and others.
7. Deepika’s beau Ranveer Singh is 7th in the list with earnings of $10 million (Rs 64 crore).
8. Priyanka Chopra has made her debut in Hollywood too; still, she’s 7th in the list with $10 million (Rs 64 crore). She’s sharing this position with Ranveer.
9. Amitabh Bachchan is 9th in the list and his yearly earnings are reported to be $9 million (Rs 57 crore).
10. 10th in the list is Ranbir Kapoor with earnings of $8.5 million (Rs 54 crore).
