Doctors are given the status of God in our society as they are the ones who save people’s lives. But after watching this video, everybody will be sure that the time has gone to consider these doctors as God because the doctors featured in the video didn’t even care about the patient and started fighting in the operation theatre.
The unfortunate incident took place in Umaid hospital which is the biggest hospital of Jodhpur. An unconscious pregnant lady was lying on the operation table as an emergency surgery was going on. Even in that critical situation, two doctors began to shout at each other while the video was recorded by one of the staff members.
The result of this fight was that the baby died after being delivered by one of the doctors, the obstetrician.
The two doctors are Ashok Nainwal and ML Tak and the argument started because of the weak heartbeat of the foetus. Dr. Nainwal asked whether the patient had eaten before getting operated and he was also not convinced with the tests done by a junior doctor on the instructions of Dr. Tak.
Dr. Nainwal (green scrubs) can be seen saying to Dr. Tak,
“You stay within your aukat (limits).”

It seems to be a street fight between rowdies and they both forgot that they are doctors and are in between of an operation. A doctor and a nurse can be seen calming them down but of no use.
Both the doctors have been suspended but this shameful incident raises a question on the safety of patients. What’s more, mobile phones should not be taken into the operation theatre as they are also a source of radiation but we can see that not only the mobiles were ringing but a video was also shot.
Suspension won’t teach them anything and their licenses should be cancelled. What do you say?
