The 2nd ODI between India and Sri Lanka gave us some nail-biting moments. Till the end, we were wondering as to who would win the game; on one side we had our enthusiastic MS Dhoni & B Kumar, who left no stone unturned to make the team win and on the other side, we had Akila Dananjaya, who won our hearts with excellent bowling.
Today, luck was in favor of India and it defeated Sri Lanka by 3 wickets.
Akila Dananjaya put Indian team in trouble by taking 6 wickets in just 4 overs. He put the whole Indian line-up in big trouble with his wicket-taking skills.
He took 6 important wickets i.e.

What’s more surprising is his excellent performance on field just one day after his marriage.
Dananjay tied the knot with his sweetheart Nethali Tekshini at Ramadia Ran Mal Holiday Resort yesterday (23rd August 2017). We know how hectic weddings are and how one needs some time off the routine to settle down in this new phase of life.
However, Dananjay seems to be very dedicated with his work and on the next day of marriage itself, he showed a power-packed performance on field.
Dananjay was on fire tonight and even though Sri Lanka has lost, we must appreciate him for such a great play. He tried hard and made things tougher for the Indian team.
Our Indian batting line-up doesn’t give up so easily, but today, Dananjay changed this trend and took wickets one after the other.
Kudos to such dedication; it is because of these players that cricket becomes all the more interesting.
