The statement released by the India TV reporter shows the real face behind the glittering world of Media. Indeed, all that glitter is not gold. The day she joined India TV as a news reporter, the horrifying days started to begun. Tanu is much aware of the happenings of the media as she in here for the last 12 years and describes this incident with utter disgust.
As per the statement released, Tanu blames the Managing Director and the wife of Rajat Sharma, Ritu Dhawan behind all the nuisance happening within the TV News Channel, Tanu Sharma said, “All that Anita Sharma Bisht and M.N Prasad used to do was because of the pressure created by Ritu Dhawan. They all used to ask me to get into the atrocious business which I have declined for endless number of times”
Anita Sharma Bisht, had lured Tanu many times to serve big clients and politicians so that they can get scoop out of them, In fact, some really poor remarks were passed to the reporter, like –
“You have good assets, They are not meant to be hide but flaunt it.”
Moreover, the atrocities were never stopped and the other members continuously tried to bring her down if she refused to get into the mean flesh business. In one of the incident that Tanu Sharma recollects, she says M.N Prasad once said her looking very disgracefully in her thighs that, they should look fleshy in front of the cameras and the gap she has should be covered. Such statement completely broke the dreams and that is the reason she tried to commit suicide.
Anita Sharma and M.N Prasad used to terms all these as socializing, but we are sure if this was genuinely meeting and greeting people, the reporter would have never attempted to commit suicide.
