Education is very important these days; some countries give immense importance to it while the others are fine with low literacy rates. The progress of the country depends on the number of educated people there; obviously, if people are educated, the country will be able to reach new heights of success.
A non-profit organization World Economic Forum i.e. WEF created a list of 11 most educated countries and included various subjective and objective measures.
The scale includes a score of 1 to 7 and different factors were included. Business leaders of the country provided the data so as to make things easy. Check out the list of 11 most educated countries;
1) Singapore

Some have named Singapore as “Pressure Cooker”. Its education system is simply the best all across the globe. Well, this is the reason it has got a whopping score of 6.3 out of 7. Don’t be surprised if you go to Singapore and come across just Maths and Science experts.
2) Finland

Teachers are very carefully selected in Finland. You must not be knowing but teachers need to have a master’s degree and only then they can teach. Top 10 % of Finland’s graduates are selected as teachers. The score of the country is 6.2.
3) Netherlands

The country’s score is a whopping 6.1 out of 7. Every third person in the country has a university degree and so, the country stands 3rd in the list of “Most educated countries”.
4) Switzerland

86 percent of the people in Switzerland have completed their secondary education. On an average, around $16,000 is spent on every student’s education there. It has scored 6.0 on the scale.
5) Belgium

This country has also scored 6.0; since the country is very educated, the unemployment percentage is just 3. Moreover, teaching is considered to be a respectable profession in Belgium and on an average, a teacher earns a salary package of $74,000.
6) Denmark

The country secures the 6th position with a score of 5.9.
7) Norway

Norway spends a lot on education. Every year, around $14,000 is spent on every student. Its score is 5.9
8) United States

In America, around 43 percent of adults have completed their university education. No wonder, American kids are so smart, be it in terms of technology or be it in terms of academics. It has a score 5.9.
9) Australia

Australia deserves to be in the list of most educated countries; 43 percent of adults in Australia have received training at institutions after school! The score is 5.9.
10) New Zealand

New Zealand is in this list because of “Innovation”. It has the best education systems; if you don’t know, let us tell you that the government even came up with programs which didn’t require students to attend school. Even New Zealand’s score is 5.9.
11) Iceland

Iceland is a tiny country, but still it’s best in terms of educated population. It has managed to get a score of 5.9 too.
