Recently, an article was published on Medium.com, which accused Arunabh Kumar, the founder of TVF i.e. The Viral Fever of sexually harassing the women. The post was made by the name “Indian Fowler”, an ex-employee of TVF (Identity hidden), who claimed that she was molested and harassed for months by Arunabh. In the post, the girl wrote that she’s from Muzzaffarpur and joined TVF in 2014, when she was 22.
Following this article, even other women came forward and made similar allegations. Yes, they said that Arunabh molested and sexually abused them. Here’s a post by Reema Sengupta, the founder of Catnip, a digital media company. She supported the post on Medium.com and said that even she was touched inappropriately;
Following her, it was Rafiya Khan who shared her part of the story on Facebook;
On the other hand, TVF released an official statement that read,
“All the allegations made against TVF and its team in the article are categorically false, baseless and unverified. We take a lot of pride in our team and in making TVF a safe workplace that is equally comfortable for women and men. We will leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to severe justice for making such false allegations.”
In the meantime, many comedians came forward and gave mixed response on the same; check out what they have to say!

Tanmay Bhatt!
Much to process after all that's been read today. I hope there's a fair investigation that's followed in the coming days to come.

It is very hard for women to speak up against harassment at the work place and as entrepreneurs it is our duty to make them feel safe.

Startups, or any company, have a responsibility to do sexual harassment training, sensitivity training, set up a committee to deal with this

The fact that the diggaj-log of comedy who make videos & even take money from brands for their saleable feminism are quiet today is telling

She questioned the director of TVF, Amit Golani
Amit, why are there more than 9 women/young girls with this claim? How is everyone coming out to tell a concerted lie AT THE SAME TIME? https://t.co/mgWIzhWCBe

Ashish Shakya!
Sickened by all the allegations coming to the fore. There's no place for such behaviour in 2017.
— Ashish Shakya (@stupidusmaximus) March 13, 2017
I hope there's a fair and impartial investigation into it. It is literally the least you can do at this stage.
— Ashish Shakya (@stupidusmaximus) March 13, 2017
And seriously, kudos to the women who spoke out. Cannot imagine how difficult it must have been.

As of now, it’s not known whether the women will take legal action against him or not. Let’s wait and watch for the same. Also, there are high chances of these accusations being fake; since, we report only the facts, we won’t support any one party blindly. We will keep a close look on this matter and keep you updated on the same.
