Yes, Twitterati started believing this news as soon as they saw this Wiki update. Edit history shows that page was last edited on 19th Feb 6:18 PM i.e. few hours back. Check the proof:-
But it was a mistake on Wikipedia’s part that the death date was shown so. In fact, the company realized its mistake and removed the death date. The news was 101% fake & Farida Jalal is still alive. In no time, Wikipedia rectified the error; once again, the page is back to normal. Here’s the screenshot:-
Social media is too quick with reactions and this is the best example of this statement. People must bother to cross check the news twice before they start posting.
