15th of November 1989 will never be forgotten in the history of Cricket. Yes, this is the day when Waqar Younis and Sachin Tendulkar made their debut in test match. Now, this was a 4-test series and the 1st one was played between India and Pakistan at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Now Sachin Tendulkar batted at no.6 and when he came the score of India was 41/4. The 1st inning total of Pakistan was 409. Now, the Master Blaster scored 15 runs from 24 balls and had 2 boundaries in his pocket. Then, he was bowled by Waqar Younis, who also made his debut with this match.
Tendulkar didn’t get any chance of batting in the 2nd innings because there was a draw. But no one would forget his 32 run partnership with Azharuddin.
Now, Sachin has too many records to his name and it is impossible for others to beat it. Now, Waqar Younis took to Twitter to recollect this memorable day! Here’s his tweet…

Playing for the country was always a dream. What a memorable moment it was! Time has flown quickly indeed, but you weren't any slower either https://t.co/eBm6nhK4pJ
