Uri attacks have had a great impact on India and have made everyone very furious. Obviously, how can we not fight against these attacks that took away our brave hearted Jawans?
However, this rising tension between both the countries has had an effect on Bollywood too. Remember how MNS threatened Pakistani actors to leave the country within 48 hours? Moreover, there were also reports about troubles being created for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees, since the movies star Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. Now, as a revenge, Pakistan has created a big trouble for B-town! Yes, the Government has banned the most awaited movie of the year “M S Dhoni: The Untold Story” in Pakistan, isn’t it sad?
After the episode of MNS threat, Pakistani distributors took the decision of not releasing Dhoni’s biopic, which is all set to hit the theaters tomorrow.

The distribution company in Pakistan, IMGC Global Entertainment has said ‘NO’ to the release of the biopic there. The chairman of the agency said “Amid current tension between the two countries, we have decided not to release the film.”
Now, this ban is going to affect the collections to a great extent. Yes, if you don’t know, let us tell you that Pakistan is the 3rd highest overseas market for Indian films and if the movie is banned there, it would definitely have a negative impact.
Moreover, even a petition was filed in Lahore High Court on the 23rd of September, which called for a ban on Bollywood films in Pakistan till Kashmir dispute is sorted out.
Azhar Saddique, the lawyer who filed the petition says that if Indian movies are released there, people’s feelings would be hurt.
Let us see what happens next! When do you think these issues between India-Pakistan would get solved? Do you think this ban would have a very bad effect? Too many questions, isn’t it? Do let us know your thoughts in our comments section below.
