Kapil Sharma is having a very bad time! Last week, there was lot of controversy surrounding his tweet which highlighted the corrupt nature of BMC officials.
Already an FIR was filed against Kapil for illegal construction going on in his Goregaon flat.
Now, once again another complaint has been filed against him and this time it is for destructing mangroves.
Yes, today officials of District Collector for Mumbai Suburban registered an FIR at the Versova Police station as they believe he has violated the Environment Act.
As per reports, police said that the comedian has dumped debris near the mangroves behind his posh and luxurious bungalow at Andheri. Moreover, Kapil also carries the blame of illegal construction.
Officials received orders from Deependra Singh Kushwah, Mumbai Suburban District Collectorate, to delve into this matter and check whether Kapil has violated the Environment Act or not. Then, a single page mangrove cell report was submitted to the police, based on which an FIR was filed.
DCP Ashok Dudhe stated “We have recorded a case under Sp LAC (special local Acts) No 87/16 U/S 15 (1)(2) Environment Act against Sharma,”
On 7th of November 2015, Kapil had purchased bungalow no. 71 at Four Bungalows, Andheri from a businessman named Baran Adaersh, after which he also indulged in some illegal construction work.
