One of the biggest clashes is on its way; yes we are talking about ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ V/S ‘Shivaay’, which would hit the screens on the 28th of October. We saw how KRK made the clash nasty, with his biased tweets.
Yes, couple of days back, Ajay Devgn tweeted an audio clip in which KRK was heard confessing to Kumar Mangat, that he took 25 lakhs as bribe from Karan Johar, to promote ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. This was more than enough to spark a controversy.
However, there are some other elements too, which have made this clash even nastier. Neither Karan Johar nor Ajay Devgn wants to lose this battle and both are really trying very hard to stay ahead in this rat race.
They are making arrangements well in advance so that they don’t have to face problems later on. Now, there are new reports which state that makers of both films are going to give a tough fight to each other.
Since the makers don’t wish to change the scheduled release date and are adamant on going ahead with the clash, things are not going to be easy.
Multiplex owners are in a big dilemma now. Since both these movies are big banner ones, they are confused as to which one to neglect and which one to favor.
As per reports, sources are quoted as saying
“It’s a tricky situation for theatres this Diwali. Both Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar are not only the directors but also the producers of the two films. We are being asked for optimum screens by both the production houses. It’s not an easy situation for us, as it is being hinted that future projects of these production houses will be given to our theatre chain on the basis of how many screens we give to these two films,”
For Ajay, it is a plus point, due to his tie-up with Eros International. Sources say;
“Ajay Devgn has tied up with Eros International, so that gives him extra muscle to get as many screens as he wants. For Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is going solo. No corporate partners this time,”
