Want to know what happened? Well, she has been robbed of gold and cash worth Rs 3.25 lakhs, isn’t it shocking? Moreover, this incident has happened in the most uptown area of Mumbai, Bandra (West) in her apartment Pacific Heights.
Want to know how and when the incident happened? Well, Arpita and Aayush (Her husband) were away on a holiday and this is when the robbers took a perfect chance. The couple came to know about this theft only after they returned home on 21st of August from their trip.
Afsa Khan, their maid is the main suspect as she stopped coming to work since the 30th of July. Arpita and Aayush lodged complaint against Afsa with the Nalasopara police station on Sunday. Now a case is registered against her under IPC section 381.
A senior police official stated
“The course of investigations we realised that the theft must have taken place much earlier than Sunday. We arrested Afsa from Nalasopara after which she was produced in Bandra court. She has been remanded in police custody till 25th of August for further investigation,”
The loot included designer clothes, 10gm gold coin and Rs 2.25 lakhs in cash. Investigation is on, let us see what happens!
