Don’t keep it plugged-in after it gets fully charged
It is the worst thing you can do to your phone’s battery. The processes happening after it gets 100% includes high-stress, high-tension state of the battery which puts a great impact on the battery’s chemistry. So, for long run Do not keep it plugged in.
Let it be cool
You must remove cases and covers while charging the battery. It keeps it cool and healthy. Let it breathe!
Use A Power-Bank only in emergency
Power banks are designed to charge every phone. They do not supply the required amount of current. It’s either lower than the amount required by the battery or is higher which makes the life of battery reduce gradually.
Do not charge it from zero to 100%
Do not charge it fully as it might cause high voltage stresses in the battery.
Never Play high-end games while plugged in
High end games in the phone cause the temperature to rise and battery is consumed at a higher rate than the rate at which it is getting charged. This causes stresses in the battery and hence the life decreases.
Don’t ever charge your phone overnight
There is a great risk in charging your phone over night. It may lead to over heating of the battery.
Switch off Fastcharge if possible
Fast charge provides 8 Hours of charging in just 15-30 minutes. This causes stresses in battery if the IC is not smart enough.
Do not use any other device’s charger
It’s simply because of voltage variation. A device may not necessarily need the same amount of energy as your phone does. So, it’s not a great idea to use that device’s charger.
About Storing A Battery
Never store a battery when it’s 0%. Make sure that you charge it at least 40-50 percent before storing.
