Launched on 15 September 1959, Doordarshan is India’s Central Government founded public service Broadcaster and a Division of Prasar Bharti. DD had the modest beginning with a small transmitter and a makeshift studio in an experimental telecast conducted at Delhi. Doordarshan is loved for its popular telecasts and is still entertaining us. Here is a list of shows and some awesome things about the channel that will make you remember your 90’s.
