Kangana Ranaut’s controversies and Lucknow Central’s prison escape concept have been the talk of the town since this Friday. Both the movies opened to an average response but still, they are showing good signs of growth. The films received mixed reviews but improvement on the weekend came as a major relief to them.
Lucknow Central that features Diana Penty and Farhan Akhtar in lead roles is being praised for its awesome plot. Even Simran has been liked by the audience and in fact, it is ahead of the Farhan Akhtar starrer in terms of collections. This Box Office race is getting intense and we can definitely say that both the films have shown a satisfactory performance.
Let us see how much they have earned on the 3rd day i.e. Sunday;

Simran has once again shown a good growth on Sunday. Yes, it has earned 4.12 crores, thereby bringing the total to 10.65 crores on the first weekend. We don’t think it would be able to earn the same figures on Monday.

Day 2- 3.76 crores
Day 3- 4.12 crores

Although Lucknow Central was behind Simran in terms of numbers, the growth percentage was more. On the 3rd day, it earned 3.56 crores, thereby taking the total to 8.42 crores. This is indeed a great thing; but let us wait and see if the same can be maintained on weekdays too.
