It has been a great year for Bollywood so far as so many films have proved to be big hits at the Box Office. The lineup is far more interesting because even if we leave the remakes, sequels and biopics, fans have an exciting slate to look forward to.
Here’s a list of 10 upcoming Bollywood films which have got everyone’s attention thanks to their fresh plot.
1. Andhadhun
After Badlapur, Sriram Raghavan came with yet another nail-biting thriller. Andhadhun stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in main roles and and it was damn interesting.
2. Badhaai Ho
Ayushmann Khurrana is doing some really interesting films these days. Last year he gave us Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Bareily Ki Barfi and this year is no different. After Andhadhun, he was seen in in Badhaai Ho which is a quirky comedy.
3. Thugs Of Hindostan
Aamir Khan is one superstar who always serves the audience with something interesting. With Thugs Of Hindostan, he came back on the silver screens after 2 years. His concept was fresh but didn’t go down well with audience.
Along with Aamir, the film will have Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It’s a Diwali 2018 release.
4. 2.0
Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited biggie is the remake of 2010’s blockbuster Robot. 2.0 is slated to release on 29th Nov and promises something never seen before in Indian cinema.
5. Zero
Shah Rukh Khan and Aanand L Rai have collaborated for Zero which promises an exciting story and top-notch VFX. SRK plays a dwarf in the film which is slated to release on 21st Dec 2018. Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma also play important roles in the film.
6. Gully Boy
Ranveer Singh plays a rapper in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film Gully Boy. Also starring Alia Bhatt the film is slated to release on 14th Feb 2019.
7. Mental Hai Kya
Starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in lead, Mental Hai Kya promises a very unique and quirky comedy. It’s slated to release on 22nd Feb 2019.
8. India’s Most Wanted
Arjun Kapoor and Rajkumar Gupta collaborate for India’s Most Wanted. The film is inspired by the real-life incident of capturing India’s Most Wanted without firing a single bullet. The film is slated to release on 24th May 2019.
9. Good News
Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani’s Good News also has an interesting plot. Produced by Dharma Productions, the film is slated to release on 19th July 2019.
10. Brahmastra
Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious project Brahmastra is a fantasy fiction film. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt in lead the film promises to be first of its kind film. It will be made in 3 parts and first will release on 15th Aug 2019.
