He may be having a large number of followers but people of his housing society want him to leave the society. We are talking about the self-proclaimed Godman turned actor, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who has been asked to vacate the flat by the residents of Riviera Cooperative Housing Society, Mumbai.
As per a report published in Mumbai Mirror, the religious guru is living there on rent but the other residents have been fed up of the regular security checks that they have to undergo by the personal security staff of the guru.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has occupied two floors, i.e., 6th and 7th, and he has 36 armed policemen for his security. The residents are not happy with the problems that they are facing due to his security and also with the space that is occupied by the security.
As per Suresh Jasani, the chairman of the society, meeting of housing committee will take place soon so that a decision about the religious guru can be taken. In his words,
“His guards are all over the compound. There is constant traffic of vehicles coming in and leaving the compound. There have been discussions and a decision will be made in a committee meeting soon.”
However, the allegations have been completely denied by Aditya Insaan, the spokesman of Guru Ram Rahim Singh and it is also said that all those who are trying to defame him will face appropriate outcome. As per Aditya,
“There is no truth in the allegations. He used to stay in Bandra earlier and there was no such complaint. If there is any such defamatory material against the spiritual guru then appropriate action will be taken.”
